Build

Web and mobile app development

Quick answer

Websites and apps that earn their keep. Fast on a phone on a bad connection, accessible to people using a screen reader, and simple enough that your own team can update them without calling us.

What we build

  • Marketing sites that load fast and convert. Built for the search visibility work rather than fighting it, with structured data and clean performance from the first commit.
  • Web applications. Dashboards, portals, booking systems, internal tools. Anything where your business logic lives behind a login.
  • Custom SaaS products. Multi-tenant platforms, including real-time and high-concurrency work.
  • Mobile apps. iOS and Android from one codebase in Flutter or React Native, unless there is a reason to go native.

The stack

React, Next.js, Node and Express on the front and back end. PostgreSQL or MySQL. Flutter and React Native for mobile. Redis and queue-backed workers where things need to happen out of band. We use boring, well-supported tools on purpose, so you can hire someone else to maintain it.

How performance is treated

As a requirement, not a phase at the end. Every build ships with Core Web Vitals measured, a page that renders without JavaScript, and images sized for how they are actually displayed. Our own site scores 100 on desktop and 98 on mobile in PageSpeed Insights, which is the standard we work to rather than a claim we make.

Accessibility

Keyboard navigation, visible focus states, real colour contrast and correct heading order, checked rather than assumed. It is a legal expectation for public sector work in the UK and a straightforward decency elsewhere. It also happens to help search engines read the page.

How a project runs

A free discovery call, then a fixed-price proposal with scope and timeline inside 48 hours. Weekly demos of working software rather than status reports. You deal with the engineer building it, not an account manager relaying messages. After launch we stay on for support.

What it costs

A focused marketing site starts in the low thousands. Web applications and SaaS platforms run from around £15,000 depending on scope. You get the number in writing before anything starts, and if scope changes we ask you first.

Common questions

How long does a website take to build?

A focused marketing site is typically three to five weeks from brief to launch. A web application depends almost entirely on how much of the logic is already decided: two to three months is common. The discovery call exists to give you a real number rather than a range, and that number goes in the proposal.

Will I be able to update the site myself?

Yes, and we treat that as part of the job. Depending on what suits you that means a content management system, a structured set of editable files, or a short handover session recorded so you can refer back. A site you cannot update without paying someone is a liability, not an asset.

What happens if something breaks after launch?

We stay on for support after launch rather than handing over and disappearing. For urgent problems you contact us directly on WhatsApp or email and get a person, not a ticket queue. What is covered and for how long is written into the proposal, so there is no argument about it later.
