SureSpace: from no website to 2,000+ visitors a month

SureSpace is a friendship and community app for expats in Dubai. We built the app first, then made the platform findable through search. In twelve months, monthly website visitors grew from 20–30 to 2,000–3,000.

In short

SureSpace started with no website, no app listing and nobody searching for its name. We shipped the Android app, then turned the questions newcomers to Dubai actually ask into a structure of pages, events and market pages that search engines could find. By handover, the site had 100+ indexed pages, 10,000+ monthly search impressions and around 100 times its starting visitor numbers.

The starting point

This was a discovery problem, not a ranking problem. There was no brand demand to capture yet.

  • No websiteNo public site and no indexed pages.
  • No app acquisitionNo app listing and no installs.
  • No branded demandThe brand was new, so nobody searched for it.
  • Answers owned elsewhereForums, aggregators and competitors held the questions people asked.

What we did, in two phases

  1. May 2024Phase 1: build the product Built the Android app, shipped it to Google Play and kept improving it from real usage. Product foundations were in place before any public website existed.
  2. January 2025Phase 2: win discovery through search Published question-led articles and landing pages continuously, made events, networks and markets indexable, added market structures for the UAE, UK and Singapore, and optimised the site technically.
  3. May 2025Handover A search foundation designed to keep growing, not a one-off launch campaign.

The approach: one real question, one page

Instead of a generic blog, the questions a person new to Dubai would ask became the site's structure.

  1. 01ResearchThe questions newcomers actually ask.
  2. 02ArchitectureA dedicated page for each useful search.
  3. 03ContentA direct, plain-language answer on each page.
  4. 04Indexable activityEvents, networks and markets as searchable pages.
  5. 05CompoundingPublish continuously so the footprint keeps growing.

What this page leaves out

Event registrations, paying members and revenue are confidential, so none are shown or implied here. Structured data was not yet in place at handover and was identified as the next technical priority.
